Sandhurst Ridge

Sandhurst Ridge is a family-owned and operated boutique vineyard and winery of the Bendigo Region in Central Victoria.

Our vineyard was established in 1990 and the first vintage was 1995. Our first vintage, Sandhurst Ridge Shiraz (1995), was accorded 5 stars by Winestate magazine. Subsequent vintages have won medals and stunning press reviews.

James Halliday's Wine Companion 2005 and subsequent edition lists Sandhurst Ridge as a five-star winery - an "outstanding winery regularly producing exemplary wines".

Our philosophy is that great wine, like great food, requires unwavering care and devotion to create. People who love and appreciate good, wholesome products made with pride, care and attention are people who will also love our wines.

We aim to export to a limited variety of markets with small quantities (1,000+ cases/year) of our estate and non-estate wines, with a long-term vision of increasing the quantity of our non-estate wines available for export. These wines (our current "Fringe" range) are handcrafted at our winery from grapes from neighbouring vineyards.

We are seeking an importer/distributor with experience and success in placing four and five-star wines in the upscale market. Our wines are handcrafted and favour a "hand-sell" approach to marketing. We hope to support distributors through frequent communication and updates on press reviews and awards, as well as annual or bi-annual visits to the market to conduct tastings and provide additional promotional assistance.
